Catherine produced and directed the film I Cant Marry You, hosted by Betty DeGeneres, mother of talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres. The film aired on PBS in more than 70 cities nationwide. Catherine also traveled the country on a 20 city tour of screenings, including film festivals in Asheville NC, Denver CO, Philadelphia, PA, Ft Lauderdale, Florida, and Asbury Park, New Jersey where the film won an outstanding documentary award. Next, Catherine worked on the award winning films Laughing Matters More and co-produced "Laughing Matters- The Men" starring several well known comics, including Bruce Vilanche. Early in her career, Catherine produced a series in Miami entitled Way Off Broadway. She also worked with TCI Cable Television, and then was Vice President of start up cable network, C1TV in South Beach. Later Catherine worked with Bravo/AMC in New York City. She now produces films for her company FYI Productions as well as All Out Films in Los Angeles California. Catherines latest project is the comedy film short Million Dollar Salad. Catherine also launched production company ShowBizShorts and focuses on a new division called Corp Shorts. |
